Our Mission
Purpose statement
The Corporation is organized as a nonprofit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and the Treasury Regulations thereunder, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “IRC”).
a. Authorized purposes and activities:
- To conserve wildlife through traditional and established anti-poaching protocols, methods that capitalize on new and developing technology and practices that address the root causes of poaching programs and the study and development of practices that can be used by others to combat wildlife poaching;
- To conserve, rehabilitate and enhance wilderness lands through sustainable and responsible resource management practices and policies;
- To empower communities to live in harmony with wildlife and wilderness lands through sustainable farming practices, economic development assistance, disaster relief, health and wellness initiatives and educational support;
- To advocate for sustainable use practices and responsible resource management policies; and
- To provide grants or otherwise partner with other charitable, educational or government organizations pursuing the same or similar goals as the Corporation.
b. The Corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on: (i) by a corporation exempt from federal income tax under TRC Section 501(c)(3); or (ii) by a corporation contribution to which are deductible under IRC Section l 70(c)(2).
